Basic Drug/UC Investigations Course
This dynamic blend of classroom instruction and reality based scenario training is designed for officers and supervisors who have been newly assigned to an investigative unit. A cadre of veteran narcotic investigators from across Ohio will provide intensive instruction on the fundamentals of these challenging investigations.

The training tuition covers all student materials and certificate. Lodging is provided at a discounted rate
Sunday evening through Friday morning, and the students will be responsible for making their lodging
accommodations and meals.
Students will be confirmed for training based on agency affiliation: First--OCJS/Byrne task force officers, Second--NARCO members and Last—all others. Students will also be confirmed on the basis of available role-players and evaluators. There is a minimum requirement of one role player or evaluator per registered student, in addition to the instructors. It is imperative that task forces provide instructors, role players and evaluators. Officers who have extensive experience and/or have completed a previous BDI program are requested. NOTE: There is a backlog of verbal requests for this training. Please submit applications for student registration and role player/evaluator positions as soon as possible. A tentative registration deadline is June 6, 2011.
